Courtesy visit with Tourism Secretary-22nd september

NMA delegation led by President Ang Tshering Sherpa met with newly appointed Secretary for Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Shanker Prasad Adhikari on 22 Sep 2016. Mr, Sherpa briefed him about the ongoing activities of NMA, future programs, Makalu and Kanchenungha Diamond Jubilee Celebration, UIAA GA 2016.

NNMGA President passed way

President of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association and IFMGA Guide Dorje Lama passed away due to landslide on 22 Sep in the northern Gorkha. NMA family expresses heartily condolence to bereaved NNMGA family.

26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) – 7th September 2016

Visit of Gurung museum in Lamjung-14 August

NMA representatives led by its President Ang Tshering Sherpa monitored Gurung Museum in Lamjung. They also supervised the statue of late Dr. Harlan Gurung established in the premises of the museum. NMA is the major financial contributor for the establishment of Dr. Gurung 's statue and some development works at museum.


11th AGM of Annapurna Chapter completed- 13 Aug
In the special program organized on 13 Aug, Director General of Department of Tourism Sudershan Prasad Dhakal inaugurated 11th AGM of Annapurna Chapter.
