1991 : NEPAL MOUNTAINEERING ASSOCIATION acquires its own building-the present Central Secretariat, Nagpokhari
1992 May 8-10 : UIAA Mountain Protection Commission Meeting in Kathmandu
1995 December 8-10 : UAAA First General Meeting in Kathmandu
1995 December 1 : Foundation of International Mountain Museum laid at Pokhara
