The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) marked the 44th World Tourism Day in partnership with the Government of Nepal, (the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation-MoCTCA). NMA's distinguished officials, including President Mr. Nima Nuru Sherpa, Senior Vice President Mr. Thakur Raj Pandey, Acting General Secretary Mr. Dhan Bahadur Gurung, Chief Advisor Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa, along with other board members and staff, actively participated in a rally that commenced from Patan Dhoka and traversed through different parts of Lalitpur, concluding at the iconic Patan Durbar Square. The highlight of the celebration unfolded at Patan Durbar Square, where the Honorable Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Sudan Kirati, delivered an inspiring address. The NMA has established a tradition of commemorating World Tourism Day each year, forging partnerships with diverse organizations to promote the significance of tourism.
