In a landmark move towards promoting mountain tourism in the Saipal region, the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Saipal Rural Municipality, Bajhang, formalized their commitment through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the NMA Secretariat, Nagpokhari, Naxal, today.
This comprehensive agreement outlines
the visionary initiatives and collaborative efforts, all geared towards the
enrichment of mountain tourism experiences within the Saipal Rural Municipality
region.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Nima Nuru Sherpa, President of NMA, and Mrs. Dolma Tamang, the Chairperson of the Saipal Rural Municipality. This comprehensive agreement outlines visionary initiatives and collaborative efforts aimed at enriching mountain tourism experiences within the Saipal Rural Municipality region.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished individuals, including Mr. Basanta Pratap Singh, a prominent reporter from Kantipur, Mr. Pawan Shakya, a General Member of NMA, and Mr. Kul Prasad Rai, the Chief Executive Officer of NMA.
The primary objective of this
collaboration is to propel mountain tourism activities in the pristine Saipal
Rural Municipality, contributing to the overall development of the region and
providing tourists with memorable experiences amidst Nepal's stunning
landscapes. Both parties are committed to leveraging their expertise and
resources to facilitate sustainable growth in this vital sector.
