NMA to host Basic and Advance Mountaineering training this year

The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has decided to resume Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Training this year. Both trainings have been on hold for a long time due to various reasons.

The 29th Central Executive Board Meeting, held last week at the NMA Secretariat in Nagpokhari, Naxal, made this decision.

According to the decision, Basic Mountaineering Training will be conducted from June 10th, 2024. Advanced Mountaineering Training will take place from December 30th, 2024, to February 12th, 2025.

The Board meeting has also decided to conduct Mountain Leader Course Component I. However, the date and schedule will be finalized later.
