Tamang and Gauli Appointed to Central Secretariat

Mr. Dinesh Tamang and Mr. Namaraj Gauli, members of the Central Executive Board of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), have been appointed as members of its Secretariat.

During the 29th Central Executive Board meeting held last Friday (16th February 2024) at the NMA Secretariat in Nagpokhari, Naxal, Mr. Tamang and Mr. Gauli were entrusted with additional responsibilities. This decision comes after months of vacancy following the resignations of former members Ms. Doma Sherpa and Mr. Ramchandra Dhamala.

Mr. Tamang was elected as a member of the NMA Executive Board through elections held on June 10, 2022, while Mr. Gauli was nominated to the board.
