Jinesh Sindurakar is a dedicated professional with a long-standing experience in mountaineering tourism. He has been serving as the Chief Administrative Officer at Nepal Mountaineering Association since March 2011. As one of the focal persons of NMA, Mr. Sindurakar plays a crucial role in formulating plans and programs for the development of mountaineering tourism in Nepal. He is dedicated to his role and is committed to continuously upgrading and improving the implementing capacity of NMA for the promotion of tourism in Nepal. His duties and responsibilities include working as a team member within NMA to support tourism activities, providing strategic support to the executive board in planning and implementing annual mountaineering tourism programs, administering resource allocation and budgeting of the annual program, coordinating with government, INGOs, NGOs, and other departments for the smooth operations and management of NMA, setting departmental and individual goals and coordinating with them to achieve on time, conducting periodic analysis of progress, special studies and providing feedback to continuously upgrade and improve the implementing capacity of NMA for the promotion of tourism in Nepal, organizing workshops, seminars, and meetings on various aspects of tourism, performing duties assigned by the Executive Board, and evaluating the performance of subordinate staff. He has served as the Member Secretary for several committees, including the Mountain (Peak) Profile Preparation Committee formed by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation and the selection committee for various awards such as the Kumar Khadga Bikram Adventurous Award and the Dawa Norbu Tourism Journalism Award. He is a tourism/travel writer and has published several articles in renowned publications such as The Himalayan Times, The Kathmandu Post and New Business Age. He has attended international conferences, including the General Assembly of the Union of International Alpine Association (UIAA) in Brixen, Italy. He has received training in various fields, including web page design, export promotion, positive motivation skills, professional writing, and ecotourism. He has traveled to countries like Japan, Slovenia, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. He has also conducted research on topics such as deposit mobilization of Himalayan Bank Ltd. and the relationship between economic growth and the stock market. He has received several letters of appreciation and awards for his contributions to various events, including the Mt. Everest Golden Jubilee Celebration, the Himalayan Tourism Conference, and the First Inclusive Sagarmatha Women Expedition.
